Our co-owner and co-founder Eric Taslimi saw Chattanooga had a need for a neighborhood burger joint where anyone could access and enjoy high-quality food. After years of running kitchens in the fine dining space, he left that world behind to open Slick’s in 2013.

In 2015, we moved to our permanent home on Main Street, which at the time was nothing but a gravel lot. We built from the ground up, and built around our 1956 Spartan travel trailer, which we turned into a kitchen. Since then, our neighborhood has continued to rapidly grow and has welcomed countless residents and tourists to the area. We’re proud to call Southside home and to continue serving this area for years to come.
